Implementation of the Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 and SC/ST (Preventiu Atrocities) Act, 1989
The assistance is given as per the provision of the SC/ST (Prevention of atrocities) Act and its Rules. Terms & Conditions:
1. FIR must have been lodged in Police Station.
2. Atrocity must have been committed by Non-SC persons.
Measures to be taken by the District Administration.
The District Magistrate and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate or any other Executive Magistrate shall make arrangements for providing immediate relief in cash or in kind or both to the victims of atrocity. their family members and dependents according to the scale as in the Schedule annexed to these rules.
